State is the mental and physical position, often referred to as ‘state of mind’, from that a person is behaving. The state we are in affects our interpretation of particular experience and our resulting capabilities. Each individual will respond to internal and external stimuli differently, depending upon the state they are in at a particular time. Also, the information that the person receives from the outside world will be filtered and interpreted according to the state they are in, resulting in a different perception of what is being experienced.
